Embrace Both Worlds

The meaning of
Identity Crisis Club
Growing up in South Florida, I was surrounded by a rich blend of cultures. Being Brazilian-American felt like a superpower, and my community of fellow Brazilian-Americans was a huge part of that. But as I met new people, I faced pressure to fit into a box, with comments about my looks, interests, and my accents in both Portuguese and English. So I used to joke about having an identity crisis, but that joke opened my eyes to how others navigate the complexities of a multi-cultural identity.
The Identity Crisis Club is for anyone who's felt torn between cultures, or has defied cultural expectations. It’s for those who want to reconnect with their roots and build a community of people who embrace both worlds. It’s for people like you.
